Mr. ASGHAR ALI GURGEJ was born on February 3, 1990 in Village Bilawal Khan Gurgej, Taluka Ubauro, District Ghotki. In 2009, he passed intermediate examination from Government Higher Secondary School, Ubauro. He received the degrees of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and Masters in English from Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur Mirs. He received the professional degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur Mirs.

He started his career in 2008 by teaching in private schools. In 2012, when the recruitment of teachers was announced by NTS (National Testing Service) in the Education & Literacy Department of Sindh, he prepared for test with his maternal uncle teacher Mashooq Ali Gurgej, his dear friends Ahsan Ali Mazari, Muhammad Piral Shar, Nazir Ahmed & Rasool Bakhsh Golato. When the result of the test was announced, he was at the seventh position in UC Langho with 66 marks in the PST. Based on the result of the test, he was appointed as Primary School Teacher (PST) on March 27, 2015 at Government Boys Primary School Jhangal Machhi, Obawar. He was transferred to Government Primary School Noor Hassan Gurgej & now he is performing his duty in  Government Boys Primary School Allah Warayo Gurgej. He has taught all the subjects and has been a class teacher of 4th and 5th Grade.

He has attended various trainings and assignments by Education & Literacy Department such as induction training by RSU (Reform Support Unit) in 2016, worked as a polling officer in the 2015 local body elections, did school profiling on behalf of RSU in 2016 and 2017. In the 2018 general elections, worked as Polling Officer, as Voter Verification (V/O) by Election Commission of Pakistan in 2021, School Census by RSU in 2021 and 2022, Assistant in Municipal Elections 2023 & as an Assistant Presiding Officer

His best teachers in school life are Sir Maulana Muhammad Fayyaz Indhar, Sir Khushi Muhammad Rajput in English, Sir Muhammad Nahal and Sir Ghulam Sarwar Memon in Mathematics, Sir Allah Ditto Thaheem Sahib in Sindhi. Among his best friends are Ustad Nazar Hussain Qureshi, Muhammad Ahsan Mazari & Naimatullah Solangi. His favorite personality is my mother who has guided me at every turn.

While talking with the team of Sindh Educators about Education, he said my life's journey has been learning and teaching. In my view teaching is a difficult process in which creating a study-like environment and continuing the process of doing various trainings and courses with content knowledge is very important.
