Mr. MEHDI SOOMRO was born on December 25, 1996 in Kotri - a town in District Jamshoro. He passed O Levels examination in 2012 from The City School Jinnah Campus. He passed intermediate examination from Foundation Public School, Hyderabad. He received Bachelor Studies (BS) degree in English Linguistics. He is currently the student of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) & Masters of Philosophy (M.Phil).

He had worked for one year as a Teaching Assistant in English Department of University of Sindh, Jamshoro. He qualified the test conducted by Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Sukkur in Education & Literacy Department & was appointed as Junior Elementary School Teacher (JEST) on August 30, 2022 at Government Boys High School, Kotri. He teaches English & Science subjects.

His hobby is reading English novels. He has collected 100+ novels. He also got 1st position & is nominated for Silver Medal while studying in English Department. He was also selected as Student of the Year in his second year of studies in English Department. He also experienced the teaching in tent city during the flood (2022) & had interaction with different organizations & United Nations (UN) representatives.

His family has been living in Kotri before partition. His grandfather Muhammad Bux Soomro was Secretary in Revenue Department & was a highly qualified person. His father Dr. Professor Muneeruddin Soomro was Gold Medalist faculty top from Commerce Department in University of Sindh who retired as Pro Vice Chancellor in Grade-22 from University of Sindh & presently is working as a professor in Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Sciences & Technology (SZBIST) Hyderabad. His mother is also working as a Head Mistress in Grade-18 in Education & Literacy Department. He is 3rd among his siblings. His elder brother Raja Muhammad Baksh Soomro is also JEST in GBHS Kotri & elder sister is Drawing Teacher (D.T.).

While talking with the team of Sindh Educators, he gave the following message for students / public:

"Only message to the students is that their only priority should be to READ, not only the core subjects but you should practice and preach reading in your life, other genres such as Historical and Fictional. It will create a better impression of yours."
