Profile # 101 Uzma Rehman Arain (JEST - GGELS Gharibabad) عظمیٰ رحمٰن آرائیں

Here meet with Miss UZMA REHMAN ARAIN, 31 years old lady, born in a small Town of Dhabeji, Taluka Mirpur Sakro, District Thatta, 60 KM away from Karachi. Her father is not from any rich background, he is a labour by profession and her mother is a house wife. In 5 siblings she is the eldest one in hers family.

*She received her early education from Dhabeji and went for FSc at Govt Girls College, Mirpur Sakro. After passing with good grades, her family did not allow her to sit in the test for medical, but she wanted to go in medical with great interest, but her financial condition was also not like that. So she decided to take admission in Government Girls Degree College, Thatta, for Bachelor of Science. After passing B.Sc, it was the time for further studies. But the family did not allowed to study further because It was impossible for Dhabeiji to go to Karachi and do a daily out back. And along with this neither permission was given to take admission in any university in Hyderabad or Karachi 💔 Or stay in a hostel. So she decided to go to her's Nani's house which was in Sargodha (Punjab). Hence, on merit she got admission in MSc Zoology in Sargodha University in 2013. There she was the only one who migrated from  THATTA ,SINDH for education without family. There were  many difficulties in studies due to weak educational background and  weak basics. Along with studies, it was also responsibility to take care of her's grandmother and the household chores. Wel, time passed by with good and bad lessons. Got a chance to study from very good teachers and Completed Masters with Good CGPA. And Come back to home. Although Teachers never talked about کہ سندھ سے آئی ہو--۔  Although she was not very good in studies but they always supported 😍 After completed MSC she was selected as an ECD teacher in AGHA KHAN SCHOOL, Mirpur Sakro.

* Starting was very bad because teaching skills zero, even don't know how to teach she was not a such good teacher as other colleuges ya jesy aik teacher ko hona chaeye tha!!  😕 ** So Then she entered in the field and started to learning new things, experiences, how to teach, how to talk, whats the pyscho of a child, needs, care, IT skills, story telling skills, communication skills,  learning/ teaching  by doing and alot of skills & experiences. Then she found herself she is a great artist, art loving human, child loving teacher, child caring, felt a feeling of mom, and best and lovingly in hers students life. Along with teaching in AGHA KHAN She also achieved her B.Ed and M.Ed degrees with great intrests and high grades from Allama Iqbal Open University.

In 2018, she applied for Junior Elementary School Teacher through IBA Sukkur. And was selected as a JEST on Januray 10, 2020 as top in her taluka amongst of hundreds. So the time for change is begin. She came to school with all the great thoughts / Intrests and all the skills she had learned from her's experiences.

*But things are not as they seem to us!! so the ground challenges in govt school are very big. She never thought of it !So The real fun is when you prove yourself b/w these challenges and give your best To ur job!/And this is how she started the journey of government service! 

* She took Induction training  from PITE which was held  at Nawabshah (Sindh).

* During the time of Covid-19, she continued to present her skills to children through online learning and assignments with  WhatsApp groups and some how hands zone activities ! 

* Also connected  with RIGHT TO PLAY  organization. She is a very active team member as a teacher of RTP where she represents herself and her school very well.

* But after going there, Sir Yousaf a trainer finds the quality of a hidden writer and said that why don't you write colums/ articles...

So she started to writing on kids psychology, daily basis experiences in magazine.

* In 2022 she was also selected as "Master Trainer" of Science, was a program of CBT (Capacity Building Training) was launched by the Sindh Education & Literacy Department.

Along with she is running a page named UZMAH REHMAN started from 2023 Session where she put activities of hers kids.  

*Teaching Biology, Science, English, S.S.T, Islamiat, and  Drawing in this session of 23-24. As she thinks a JEST is a all rounder 😊 

She is eagrly to do M.Phill in Education But once again the same scenario has to come, that it is very difficult to come and go to Karachi. With job!. And the interesting thing is that There is no university between Hyderabad and Karachi which offers this program. Bad luck 💔 Also prepering for Head Teacher, and Zoology lecturer. I hope so (SPSC) will do justice! 

* In my opinion, life is the name of sorrows, it is the name of learning, joys, heppiness, But recently I am suffering such a troublelatic trauma whose sorrows and pain cannot be expressed. But it is life - جینا  تو ہے  which probably comes in everyone's life i think so,... But it cannot diminish my power to push forward. Bcz life is all about moving forward with enthusiastic and with hope with ALLAH.

My aim is being a Teacher is to make a positive impact on my students' lives. I've  aim to inspire, educate, and empower my students to reach their full potential. I  want to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where students can grow academically, emotionally, and socially, bcz teachers have the ability to strive to instll knowledge, critical thinking skills, and a love for learning in their students. Ultimately, as a  teacher, definiately my goal is to shape the future by shaping our's young ones🤗 minds. INSHALLAH

May Allah Taala help me  and makes an easier life as it is difficult, Ameen. 😊
